Fees and plans

What Lessons Cost, and How We Quote

Three plans, one free trial, and a written fee before you pay anything. Pick the shape of the week that suits the learner. After the free trial lesson we send the exact monthly fee in writing, worked out from lesson length, lessons per week and your timezone. Nothing is charged before you have seen that figure and agreed to it.

The three plans

Two, three or five lessons a week

Every plan is one-to-one, with the same teacher each week. The difference is how often the learner sits down with them.

Twice a week

8 lessons a month

Best for: A gentle, steady pace

  • One-to-one lessons of 30 minutes
  • Your own teacher, the same one each time
  • A progress note every month

Monthly fee quoted in writing after your free trial lesson.

Most chosen

Three times a week

12 lessons a month

Best for: A balanced week

  • Lessons of 30 or 45 minutes
  • Your own teacher, the same one each time
  • A progress note every month
  • Help with revision between lessons

Five days a week

20 lessons a month

  • A lesson every weekday
  • A hifz plan written for the learner
  • A revision check every week
  • A written report each term

How the fee is worked out

Three things decide the number

There is no single price because there is no single lesson. These are the only things that move the fee, and you will see all three on the quote we send you.

Lesson length
A 30-minute lesson and a 45-minute lesson are not the same fee. Young children usually start at 30 minutes; hifz students often need 45.
Lessons per week
Two, three or five. The plans below set the shape of the week, and the monthly fee follows from it.
Your timezone
Lessons are booked in your local time. Some hours are harder to staff than others, and that is reflected honestly rather than hidden.

Never on the invoice

What you are not charged for

These are part of teaching properly, not extras. None of them appears as a line on a bill.

  • The trial lesson, and the level check that comes with it
  • Matching a teacher, or changing to a different one
  • The written plan and your monthly progress note
  • A lesson moved to another day, given reasonable notice

Notice periods, refunds and how to stop lessons are set out on the refunds and cancelling page, and the wider rules on fees and complaints on the governance page.

The short version

  • Three plans: two, three or five one-to-one lessons a week.
  • The trial lesson is free and needs no card details.
  • Your exact monthly fee comes in writing after the trial, before you pay.
  • Lesson length, lessons per week and your timezone are the only things that change it.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there no price on this page?

Because a single number would be wrong for most families. The fee depends on lesson length, lessons per week and the hours you need. Rather than publish a figure and revise it once we know your details, we send the exact monthly fee in writing after the free trial lesson, before you commit to anything.

Does the trial lesson cost anything?

No. It is free, you do not give card details to book it, and you are under no obligation afterwards. It doubles as a level check, so it is worth sitting even if you go no further.

Can we change plan later?

Yes. Families move from two lessons a week to three near exams, or drop back over a long holiday. Tell us before the next month starts and we change the timetable and the fee together.

What happens if we miss a lesson?

Give the teacher reasonable notice and the lesson is moved, in the same week where possible. Repeatedly missed lessons without notice cannot always be replaced, and the teacher's time is held for you either way.

Is there a discount for more than one child?

Ask us. Families teaching two or more children are common here, and we would rather discuss it properly with your timetable in front of us than publish a rule that does not fit your case.

How do we cancel?

You tell us, in writing, and lessons stop. The refund and cancellation page sets out the notice and what happens to anything already paid.
