The academy

A teacher who knows your child's page.

AlhudaQuranEducation.com is where the Quran is taught. Every lesson is live and private: one learner, one teacher, the same face each week. The teacher hears each letter, corrects it on the spot, and writes down where to pick up next time. It starts with a free trial lesson.

Pathways

Five ways to study with us

Each course says where it starts, what the learner will be able to do, and roughly how long that takes. Pick one, or ask us after the trial lesson.

From zero

Noorani Qaida & First Reading

For a learner who cannot read Arabic yet. One letter, one sound, one joined word at a time, until short surahs come without guessing.

  • Name every letter and say it from the right place in the mouth
  • Read joined words by sounding them out, not by memory
  • Finish the Noorani Qaida and pass a check with the teacher
Beginner · 12–16 weeksView
For readers

Recitation with Tajweed

For a learner who can read but stumbles. The teacher listens to every line and fixes tajweed mistakes as they happen.

  • Hold madd, ghunnah and qalqalah for the right length, in real verses
  • Get through a full page without stopping to work a word out
  • Hear the difference in a recorded recitation check each term
Intermediate · 6–12 monthsView
Memorisation

Hifz with Daily Revision

New verses (sabaq), yesterday's verses (sabqi) and older portions (manzil) in every lesson, so what is memorised stays memorised.

  • Work to a daily target the learner can actually keep up
  • Revisit older portions on a fixed cycle before they fade
  • See each week's progress marked on a written hifz plan
All levels · OngoingView
Islamic studies

Belief, Prayer & Seerah

What a Muslim believes, how to pray properly, the life of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and everyday duas, pitched at the learner's age.

  • Explain the pillars of iman and of Islam in their own words
  • Perform wudu and salah correctly from start to finish
  • Know the main events of the seerah and what they teach

Meaning

Arabic of the Quran

For a learner who recites well and wants to know what the words say. Vocabulary and grammar are taken from the Quran itself.

  • Recognise the words that appear most often in the Quran
  • Spot common verb and noun patterns while reading
  • Follow the meaning of short surahs without a translation

The process

How OCC teaches

Four steps from first enquiry to a steady weekly routine.

  1. Step 01: Send us the basics

The learner's age, what they can read today, and the hours that suit your timezone. It takes about two minutes.

  2. Step 02: Sit the free trial lesson

A teacher checks the level, teaches a short first lesson and shows you the online classroom. No card needed.

  3. Step 03: Read the written plan

We send a starting point, targets and a weekly timetable, with the name of the teacher we have matched.

  4. Step 04: Keep the weekly routine

Lessons run one-to-one with that same teacher. Written feedback each term shows what has moved on.

Why families choose OCC

An academy built around personal learning

01

Teachers matched, not assigned

We match on level, age and timezone, then keep the same teacher so progress compounds.

02

A written plan, not vague promises

Every learner gets targets and a schedule you can actually check against.

03

Progress you can see

Termly written feedback tells you what improved and what comes next.

Who we teach

A five-year-old and an adult are not taught alike

A child needs short lessons and patience. An adult beginner needs nobody watching them start again. Sisters often want a female teacher. We set the teacher, the pace and the material to the person in front of us.

Children (5-12)

Short, playful sessions with steady letter-by-letter progress and parent updates.

Revert Muslims

Foundations of prayer, belief and reading taught from the very beginning.

Adult beginners

A patient restart with no assumed background and no group pressure.

Teenagers

Tajweed refinement and memorization that fits around school timetables.

Sisters

Female teachers available for sisters and for children on request.

Hifz students

A tracked memorization plan with daily revision your teacher checks.

Where to begin

Not sure where they stand?

The trial lesson answers it. The teacher listens to the learner read, works out the real level, and writes down where to begin. Whichever line below sounds like them, start there.

  1. 01Never read Arabic before
  2. 02Can read but slowly
  3. 03Reads fluently, wants tajweed
  4. 04Ready to begin hifz

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the trial lesson cost?

Nothing. It is a level check and a first meeting with a teacher, and you book it without giving card details.

Can my daughter, or I, learn with a female teacher?

Yes. Female teachers teach sisters and children. Say so when you book and we match accordingly.

What equipment does a lesson need?

A steady internet connection, a laptop or tablet, and a headset. We send the link to join before the first lesson.

Will lesson times fit our timezone?

Lessons are booked in your local time. Tell us the hours that work, including early mornings or late evenings, and we look for a teacher who is free then.

What happens if we have to miss a lesson?

Give the teacher reasonable notice and the lesson is moved, in the same week where possible.

Is it too late to start as an adult?

No. Adult beginners learn with material and a pace meant for adults, one-to-one, so nobody is watching you sound out letters.

One free lesson tells you more than any page here

No card, no commitment. The teacher listens to the learner read, tells you the level honestly, and puts a starting point in writing.
